Both Teams To Score Statistics Explained

Both Teams To Score is one of the most popular football betting markets because it removes the hardest question in the sport — who actually wins. A BTTS bet settles on goals alone: if each side finds the net at least once, the bet lands, whatever the final score.

The tables on this page track how often every team in the competition has been involved in a BTTS match, split by home and away fixtures so you can see where a side's scoring and conceding patterns actually come from.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does BTTS mean in football betting?

BTTS stands for Both Teams To Score. The bet wins if each side scores at least one goal, regardless of the final result. A 1-1 draw, a 3-2 win and a 2-1 defeat all settle as BTTS Yes; a 2-0 win or a 0-0 draw settle as No.

How is the BTTS percentage calculated?

We divide the number of a team's matches in which both sides scored by their total matches played, then express it as a percentage. A team with 12 BTTS matches from 20 played has a BTTS rate of 60%.

Does home and away form matter for BTTS?

Considerably. Many sides attack more at home and sit deeper away, which pushes their home and away BTTS rates apart. The split columns in the table above let you check both before backing a selection.

What counts as a BTTS streak?

A streak is the current unbroken run of matches that have settled the same way. A team on a BTTS streak of five has seen both teams score in each of its last five games; a No BTTS streak means the opposite.
